Well, 2006 is just about over. What a year. Ups and downs. Good and bad.
I shouldn't complain and can't really. Things are good and getting better. Looking forward to some time off and seeing friends and family.
It's all good.

Wow, what a year!
It's been a strange one. Got fired from a good job in March. Found an OK gig as a contract employee with a great company. Over 180 contract employees in the building and none getting hired. I applied for 4 openings and damned if I didn't get hired. Still hard to believe.
The job is tough, much to learn and not much guidance as everyone is too busy. Nice bunch of people though. Good money and great benefits.
The other day a credit union showed up looking for new customers. I was the first to enter their drawing and won an iPod shuffle, which I'm in love with. It's such a cute little thing. I wish I liked listening to music more. I'm going to try a book on it.
Getting married for the third time in a few weeks. Haven't felt great physically in a while though. Lots of headaches and lower back is still pretty sore. Shouldn't complain though. I'm sitting next to two nice, competent women who've been temping here for over a year each. One told me today that they both applied for my job. Still amazed that I got it. Hope it ends up working out.
Had a horrible dream that my Brother lost his legs last night and was in a wheelchair. Sure hope that doesn't really happen. Hope to come back here more. This is fun.

Summer time
Wow, found old girlfriend from Junior High School yesterday on "Top of the Court - Bell Park Gardens" website. Posted and she tried to answer, but couldn't make out my address. Left hers and I emailed her back today. Very weird contacting someone from 30 years ago.
I've been at this job 8 weeks now and it's weird, I don't know what I'm doing. They're very nice here, but I don't have a clue. I haven't been very busy either and that's the worst part.
The big change in my life is the Grandson, 4-1/2 year old Nathan who I love more than life itself. We're going to have him over tonight and I can't wait to see the little guy. Well enough for now.

In the duldrums
Well, the job wasn't so good after all. They fired me 3 weeks ago when I had had enough bullying from the 8 months pregnant boss-from-hell and mentioned what a bitch she was to a few co-workers. My big mouth again. If I could have waited 2 more weeks she would have been gone for maternity leave.
Well one door closes so that two others can open. Have had interviews with 3 companies in 3 week and have a fourth on Monday (tomorrow). I'm sure I'll find something, hopefully I'll enjoy more. That job was rather dull, but the money, benefits and company were good.
It's been a rough few weeks, but friends and family have been a big help, especially my brother!
