Forever Afternoon: Tuesday?

Been a long time. Nice day, nice times. Work has been excellent.The new designer is fitting in very nicely. A pleasure to work with. The boss has been wonderful lately, coming off being very cranky for a couple of months.

The big life-change has been Nathan Snider. Joan's daughter is gone, out somewhere chasing a chemical high. We watch the almost 4 year old little boy 3 nights a week and he's become so dear to us I'm astounded. Not only is he a very nice little boy, but he's extremely smart, cute and we're both crazy about him. He really is a true joy and an incredible gift too.

I'm like a broken record with him. But I can't help myself. My Sister and Brother-in-law were down here this past weekend. She gave him a Spiderman cell phone and to see how excited and happy he was with it was a very powerful emotion.

He really is an incredible little guy. No doubt Joan and I are much closer because of the little tyke, but we do love him to death.

Nice Day

Barely got up in time to get to work on time this morning. Forgot to set the alarm, but made it anyway.

It's really nice and I would have ridden the bike to work if it had been a bit warmer and I had had a little more time.

Spring is here though and my lawn is starting to look nice. Have mowed up 13 bags of leaves over the last few weeks and fertilized it as well. Just starting to get active. Played a little tennis with Nichole over the weekend as well as rollerbladed one lap of the Veloway on Sunday. Only way I'll get better from my bad back is to exercise.

Well needed to check in, now to work.

Another Rainy Day

Miserable, rainy Monday. Not much to do in the office this morning. The weekend was nothing special. Had a bad headache yesterday morning which made me miserable all day.

I know this lousy weather will be over soon enough, but my back aches and I'm sick of laying around. I want to start feeling better sooner!

Ah, this too shall pass.

Tuesday, Afternoon

Well, finally made it to 2005. Big deal. haven't felt too well the last couple of days. On the Atkins diet and maybe the horrible food I need to eat is what's causing it. We'll see as I'm feeling a bit better now.

Nothing much doing at work, kind of a slow day. Not bad enough to be bored and I'm out of here in an hour or so anyway.

New Year

Well, survived 2004. Barely. Between a bad episode of vertigo. A slipped disk. Getting fired from my job while on my back with the slipped disk. Finding a much better job almost as soon as I could walk. Then having surgery a few months later. Now I'm recovering. Slowly but surely.

Rollerbladed a partial lap of the Veloway yesterday and was much weaker than I thought. But although I didn't feel strong and confident, I didn't hurt afterwards either. So I figure I can built up my strength by exercising a bit and am optimistic.

Things are wonderful at home with my lovely girlfriend and life is good.
